The Newtons of Westby / Bassingthorpe have been a special research interest of mine.

There has been a Newton family at Westby / Bassingthorpe from about 1520 through to at least 1800.

To discover and reconstruct the families and the linkages in the 17th and 18th centuries has taken considerable research. Recognising there are fellow family historians with an interest in this family I have uploaded this research to help them.
